High Temperature Screw Conveyor for Boiler Bottom Ash
Product Overview
Hot bottom ash destroys ordinary conveyors: the trough warps, the bearings seize and the flighting scales away. This high temperature screw conveyor is built differently. The screw is fabricated from heat-resistant steel, the trough carries a 50mm castable refractory lining, the end bearing housings are water cooled, and expansion joints absorb thermal growth along the casing.

Selection & Customization
Please tell us the material temperature at the inlet, the ash particle size, the tonnage per hour and the available cooling water pressure. For material above 400 C we offer a double-shell air-cooled casing or a water-jacketed trough.
Packing & Delivery
The machine is wrapped with waterproof film, fixed on a steel pallet and packed in a fumigation-free export wooden case. Spare parts, motor and control cabinet are packed separately. Delivery time is 7-15 working days after deposit, shipping by sea, rail or air per your forwarder.
FAQ
Q: What happens if the ash is hotter than 400 C?
A: Choose the air-cooled or water-jacketed version; the working temperature can then be raised to 600 C.
Q: Is cooling water always needed?
A: Yes for continuous duty above 300 C. A small flow of 0.5 m3/h at 0.2 MPa is enough for the bearing housings.
